Its not working!!!

This app is not working!!

No heart rate?!

I think Im able to hear the fetal heart beating, but there is noooo indicator of what the heart RATE is. The other apps at least give you that in addition to the sound.

Waste of Money

Got this app at around 32 weeks, 37 weeks now and have never been able to find a heartbeat. Save your money!

Does not work at all

This app is complete garbage. At 32 weeks I put it on my belly while baby was kicking up a storm. Nothing. The movements were so strong that my phone was being pushed up and down but it was still unable to register a heartbeat. Tried other placements etc and still nothing.

Found heartbeat. Sound quality is mediocre

I am only 16.5 weeks but was able to find my babys heartbeat fairly easily but the sound quality isnt the best (even though sample sound are crumby). But Im happy that I could hear the heartbeat!!!!

Great!

I think the women that are giving this app poor reviews, are either using an older iPhone with not the best microphone, or are confused about how it works. Its not a Doppler, so dont expect to hear the blood flow (heart beat) sound that you hear at the doctors office. Im a cardiology technologist so watching the tracing, paired with the sound, I found the HB easily at 20 weeks. You need to push it down on your belly, wait for the line to go flat and then youll see spikes. Those spikes are the sound the phone is picking up from the HB. Id say you should expect them to be 1/2 of a centimetre apart for a HR around 150 bpm, if there is closer to an inch between them, youre probably picking up the flow to the placenta. I like it!

Doesnt work on thin people

Read a review that it doesnt work on heavier set people. Im a smaller pregnant woman at 38 weeks and all I get is static. Save your money!!!

Works perfectly

I am 14 weeks pregnant and I did hear my heart beat as well as babys. It is true that if the iPhone is without the case, you can hear the heart beat.

Not thin, still works

Im not a thin person and I have no problem finding the heartbeat at 30 weeks. I think people dont know what theyre listening for. I suggest finding YOUR heartbeat then have a listen for the baby. Does NOT sound like the drs office!! My 4 year old says it sounds like a train - not a bad analogy - its kind of a chugga chugga type sound!

20 weeks and it worked!

I was debated getting a Doppler but thought Id try this first. I have an anterior placenta so I cant feel a lot of movement and I want to feel like everything is okay. I doubted it would work at 20 weeks but now two mornings in a row Ive found the heartbeat. It does take some patience and time to find it but it was definitely the babys heartbeat both times. Make sure you pause at each location for approx 10s before moving it so the sound can calibrate. And also start a little lower than youd think. If you want super high quality and ease in finding the heartbeat earlier on Id recommend the Doppler route, but if youre well into your 2nd trimester and have a pretty tight tummy this can totally do the job for a fraction of the price!

Great

Worked great for me. Im not thin but overly huge. Heard babies heartbeat at 12 weeks.

26 Weeks and heavy set

I think it takes patience to find the heartbeat. Does not sound like the doctors office but you can definitely hear the beat well. Im 240lbs and not even at the prime target weeks for this app and I find it works very well. Ive tested it on other parts of my body to ensure its authenticity. I am very happy with the app!

17 weeks and I can hear the heart beat!

Hi all, I have a hi-risk pregnancy, and have been deliberating over buying an actual doppler machine, looking to pay 100$ plus, my husband found this app and told me to take a chance, whats 8$ cad versus 100$. So, while weary that It wouldnt work since it said 20-30 weeks plus... Well guess what IT WORKS!!! And I can tell you I cried!!! As your doctor how best to aim it to her the beat best!! Its faint but I not only see but hear it. Ps try to hold your breath as it will interrupt the recording :) wish I could share it with you all. I wish you could feel my heart after i heard... And ps I am 200lbs mixed of muscle, chub and baby lol. So if it can work on me it can work on you!!

Love this

I found the heart beat at 17 weeks, this is a fantastic app.

Doesnt work

Im currently 37 weeks and Ive never been able to hear the babys heartbeat once. It easily picks up my own heartbeat but never the babys. Not worth the money.

Chugga-chugga!

Saw this mentioned by a user on the What To Expect message board. I was pretty skeptical at first, I have no trouble admitting that, but figured enh, worst case scenario Im out $7. I fooled up the first few recordings, but once I got it positioned right and stayed still (and kept away the cat who insisted on laying on me) I could hear a steady little chugging that sounded just like a little train! It was pretty amazing, I must say :) Im almost 20 weeks and a little plump lol, but it seemed to work well! Take a measure of your own heart rate too, for comparison, I find it helps when recognizing what to listen for. Would really recommended it just for kicks :)

It works

I did mine at 14 weeks and it worked. You really have to position it properly. The abyss heart sounds like a train haha :)

NOT WORKING!

Im now on my 30th week and never did I hear my babies heart beat from this app! Not worth $7...not even worth a penny!! Save your money mommies! This app doesnt deserve 1star rating but I just have to give so I can send review.

Never worked !!!!

Im on my 40th week and it doesnt work at all !! I have the new iphone 6s and im not abble to hear my babys heart and not even more, MINE !!

Dont waste your money
