MyBabysBeat - Fetal heartbeat App Reviews

I loved this app since my last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage 1 year ago. But after two weeks I learned if you press the mic and speaker against something you hear a heartbeat. So unless someone got my bed pregnant. It is a hoax.

The only one out there that really works! Love it!!!

This app didnt even detect my own heartbeat. Dont waste your money like I did!

Bought this app awhile ago even before I was 20 weeks. Thought it would be nice to share the heartbeat with other people. Im 33 weeks now. It didnt work back then and it still doesnt work. It seems to just pick up on static and creates noise even when the phone is just sitting on the table. I even tried comparing it to the baby heart beat I hear on my actual stethoscope in the same exact spot and the app never catches it. Im a small mama too so idk what other excuse there is out there. So disappointing. What a waste of money

It took 2 or 3 minutes to find the babys heartbeat, but it definitely works. its really amazing to be able to use an app to listen to babys heartbeat.

I dont like to write bad reviews but this time around I have too. This application is not working and it can cause a lot of stress as you are not able to hear your babys heart. So best to stay away even if its really tempting at first.

Playback just sound like a bunch of static and it would even pick up my own heartbeat

Ive worked in Labor & Delivery for 8 years. This is the worst app Ive purchased. It shows when the baby moves. Thats it.

Well, its cheaper than a Doppler, which is nice. It really doesnt work in early pregnancy. App recommends weeks 30-40. Im currently 16w, had the app since 13w. Thought I found the hb a couple times, but its actually just the blood flow through the placenta. Wanted a home Doppler to put my mind at ease before I could feel the baby move. This wont work that early on. Great if you want to hear your placenta though! I get that every time!

I saw some of the recent good reviews and thought id give it a try but its a scam. This thing does not really work. I did it on my own heart beat and I get a bunch of different numbers for beats per minute. 96, 120, 78 and the numbers continue to change like that. I put it to my tummy and it did the same thing! And its supposed to be too early to get the babies heartbeat, so it just throws out numbers and pretends its your heart beat. The 5 star ratings are either really dumb people who truly have no clue they are being scammed or they are hired to write a good review. Really should just go get a Doppler at Target.

Dont waste your money. My wife and I tried to listen for a heartbeat many times up to 34 weeks and failed to hear anything but static. It barely works with my own heart.

Im 34 weeks and it worked! Its not crystal clear, but it does work! I wish it was clearer and not so harsh... Also would be great if it actually told me how fast the heartbeat was... But other than that, it works!

I am currently 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I decided to try the app based off the excellent reviews I read from satisfied mothers finding heartbeats as early as 8 weeks. (I just knew being in my third trimester it would work effortlessly...wrong). Im extremely disappointed..

I was mad at first that I spent money on this, but watched the tutorial and realized I had to take my case off. Im only 10 weeks and I could hear my babys heart. Pretty cool! This is my first so Im always wanting to rush to the drs office to see if theyre alive and well. Thank goodness for this app.

Takes a little tinkering with but it really works!!! Im 9 weeks 4 days pregnant and I think I may have found 2 heart beats; one on each side of my belly button!!!

So, I read the reviews before I bought this and thought to give it a try. I think it works! Unless someones just pulling our legs lol I have a background in Biology so I found my own heartbeat in a few seconds and then I found my babys heartbeat in a few seconds too. I guess I just knew where to point it :-) I hope this is real, because it made me so happy!!

I dont know what people are listening to when they say that they hear a heartbeat at around 10 weeks, but Ive had this app since I was 10 weeks, now Im 21 weeks and hear what sounds to me like a train. It has never varied in the amount of time Ive had it, and it sounds the same on my arm. So, dont waste your money, buy a Doppler instead. I think that most of these reviews are from excitable parents who think they hear a heartbeat. Its really just static made into wave links.
